Jyothi says " I always had a fascination towards Japan and their culture. Wanting to learning more about them, I joined Sakuraa India Foundation. Before joining, Initially, I was a bit scared about how I would learn the language as it seemed difficult, but after coming here, the teachers and the organisation supported me in all the ways I required to the extent now that I don't find any difficulty now. Moreover, my teachers started giving so much information about that country that I started feeling that I may already have gone to Japan and experienced it firsthand. So what I would want to tell everyone that if you get an opportunity to understand about Japan and work in Japan, you should not miss that chance. Also, if you go to other institutions to learn the language, the fees is comparatively much higher than Sakuraa India Foundation.

Most important learning for me was time management which I was never good at. I have learnt that I can learn many more things if I keep an open mind and keep trying. This was what I can take away from this program. I am happy to have this overall learning.

I didn't know anything about India except Taj Mahal, Mahatma Gandhi and that Indians are very good at Mathematics. This Internship program gave me a lot more insight of the people of India. I would like to thank my guides in this internship program and all the associations for providing me with this great opportunity.

Why I chose this internship was to challenge myself and try something new, an experience which is impossible to get in Japan. Before I came, I thought India was a dangerous place with not so friendly people. Once I came here, I saw that people in Bengaluru were very hospitable, kind and respectful to me. My whole thought about India has changed thanks to this Internship program.

Namitha Suresh - "I joined Sakuraa India Foundation only to learn the language and culture of Japan which would help me when I travel to that country. I had increased levels of confidence when I went for Ikebana sessions from Japan. My understanding of the language and their culture helped me a lot in learning and mastering Ikebana. I visited Kyoto and Tokyo regions and was very impressed with the people and the respect they showed each other. Once they noticed that we were trained in their language and culture, they were very happy with us and become much more closer.

Saiyeesh Naik - It was one of my life's most exciting moments visiting Japan. I was totally amazed to see such a beautiful country, people and culture. Since I already got accustomed myself to the Japanese way of greetings, culture, going around and the language, I found it a lot more easy to enjoy the experience of Japan. Tokyo was the city which dazzled me with it lights and people. Even though I was aware, I never imagined that I would see this level of concentration of people in such a small place.

Vijay says After learning how to speak Japanese language with SIF, I have been practicing it on my Japanese friends and they have been really happy with my efforts. After learning and also after getting an opportunity to visit Kyoto & Tokyo, I was able to use my Japanese language skills for a wonderful time & experience in Japan. I loved that country so much that I really feel like working there now. I thank my stars for getting such a wonderful opportunity.

I absolutely loved Indian people and culture. The experience I had during this internship program changed my whole life. I was a very shy person and afraid to talk to people. At the end of the program, I am having a lot of confidence now and capable of giving good presentations. I thank my mentors.
